Our Carpet Cleaning Procedure.
Steps to Sparkle.
First, we thoroughly vacuum your carpet using a Kirby vacuum cleaner to remove debris. This is important because water + dirt = mud!
Next, we pre-spray spots and traffic lanes using one of our patented pre-spays.
At this time we can also treat germs/allergies and pet urine should you desire.
Then we clean your carpets using "The Natural"; our exclusive carbonated cleaning solution.
Finally, we perform spot and stain removal (if requested) to any remaining blemishes, re-apply the carpets protectant (if requested), and groom it with our carpet rake.
The Natural
This is ChemDry's exclusive cleaning product, which forms the bedrock all our cleaning procedures are built on. Our founder developed it after an airline hostess used "club soda" (that's Yankee for soda water) to remove red wine he had spilled on his white business shirt. After years of research he developed "The Natural".
At Joe's ChemDry, we use the latest and greatest version of this product: "The Natural IV". It uses millions of tiny effervescent bubbles to dissolve the dirt and grime and lift it to the surface of your carpet where it can be easily sucked out.
Our Powerplant: The "CTS 330"
The CTS 330 is ChemDry's latest carpet cleaning machine. It is a petrol powered, truckmounted unit which uses its exhaust to heat the solution to over boiling point and has a powerful "roots" type blower (like those found on dragsters). We thought we were good before; but with this thing were unstoppable!
By using this technology, together with "The Natural IV" we have been awarded the Gold Medal from the Carpet and Rug Institute in America. This is the highest standard, and is measured by calculating the amount of soil removed by a given procedure.
"The Powerhead"
ChemDry's powerhead gives us another unfair advantage over the competition. Unlike an old fashioned "wand", (that big metal thing that looks like a vacuum cleaner pipe) the powerhead does all the work for us. The rotating skids float across the carpet at more than 650 revolutions per minute. Can you imagine a bloke moving a wand that fast? The reason this plays such an important role is that agitation is a key factor in getting a carpet clean. ChemDry's powerhead is far more efficient at getting adequate agitation than a wand.
Another factor is drying ability. Because of the design of the unit, water is extracted much easier than with a wand. In conjunction with our CTS 330 truckmount, the powerhead removes maximum moisture from your carpet, leaving it dry in the least possible time.
