Upholstery Cleaning
Bring back the beauty of your furniture!
As well as carpet cleaning, Brisbane can also get the shine back on it's furniture. We can revamp any style of fabric, including the increasingly popular "micro-suede/fibre". We also have a specific line of products to help us with even the most delicate fabric others are too afraid to attempt.
The most common dirt attractant on furniture is body oils. If you have a look at any older lounge or recliner, chances are it will have darkened areas where your head and arms sit, sometimes the fronts of the seat-cushions too. This substance is very hard to remove with normal detergents, but chemdry has several products which cut through it like hot butter. Give us a call and we will get it sparkling again for you.
Upholstery is very similar to carpet, in that if it is not kept clean, it will age prematurely. If soiling works into the fibre it will leave a permanent greyish mark like a traffic lane on carpet. Chances are that if your couch already looks dirty, it will require cleaning ASAP to avoid permanent damage.
Keep it looking new...
There is a solution to having your furniture deteriorate faster than it should. When your furniture is new it is relatively easy to get clean as the fibres are in good condition, but as it ages the fibres weaken. When this happens, it will stain easier and wear marks start to appear.
New furniture always has some form of stain resistance; whether you paid for extra protectant to be applied or not. The add-on protectant will help, but it wears off quite rapidly, and as it deteriorates it comes off quite easily when cleaned. We always notice that lounges having had protectant applied are much easier to clean.
Protectant should be re-applied on every cleaning, but we leave it as an option for you. It is only a good idea to leave the protectant off if you are selling the lounge to a stranger, or if it is severely worn. The good news is that since we use ChemDry's concentrate in large volumes, we can re-new your fabrics coating for cheaper than a DIY job (see our Web Specials) using off the shelf spray cans!
